Heh thanks phil; that's almost what they look like out of the cam. The welding glass is green naturally, almost too strong actually. Put a touch of x-pro colours in to make the sun look funny pink lol
Here's another, tinted for 'normal' then x-proed for more purple. Still can't correct it perfectly though. Might have to resort to doing a reference WB shot first.

Those men just pop out of the screen for me, Phil... wow
Zach: Thought it was with the DC!
I try to soften everything but the hummingbird. It starts in ACR where I double process the raw file and drop the clarity for oof parts and bring it up for the bird.
In town here, we have a Visual Arts Center, http://www.daytonvisualarts.org/ , see if there is something like this in your area. Ours does local calls for artists, and has exhibitions in their gallery downtown.

You should do it. I have been to several art fairs and your body of work on here blows them into the weeds. Thank you!

Thanks for the info, I will look into that.

You don't have to open a gallery, look for small art galleries in your area that will display your working for a few weeks at a time.
Will do, thank you.
Zach, your work is trully trully amazing, what a joy to have you round here.
I appreciate that. Still have a loooong ways to go before I reach the level of Marc Adamus: http://www.marcadamus.com/
And he even posts here every once and a while.

Zach - I said it before, I can't imagine being there in that heat. I am going to Zion next week and I am dreading the high 90s!
I am curious how much processing you did - especially given the amount of exp/comp at the point of capture.
Edit: nevermind, lifted the EXIF - some pretty intense adjustment - well done.
Ya know, I didn't really notice the heat until I was done. Two 45min sessions out walking the dunes and I was beyond dehydrated. I am pretty pissed at myself for not staying overnight and hitting a few more spots and using the 4x5/8x10.
I think you can see the ACR adjustments in exif. Exp comp was at -1.6. Thanks! I had my D300 in b&w mode most of the trip and Death Valley was the first place I got excited looking at the lcd.
Looking forward to your shots from your trip, especially the film.
