rsolti, Jekyll Island was the first time I have seen trees with the mossy stuff hanging down from it (like in your last shot). I was hoping you could send me a couple of boxes of the stuff to use in my pictures were I am at now. I just love that stuff!

Savannah is full of that moss. I don't know the exact number but there are probably about 40-50 squares like the picture below where moss dominates the trees. Funny/weird....only ONE of those squares does not grow moss at all...and I mean none at all. Never has. I went on a tour years ago and they mentioned why but I can't remember....I think it was something related to 'ghosts' or something like that. who knows
BTW...didn't think I would need it, but being able to hand-hold the 16-35 for 1 sec and get 80% or so shots perfectly sharp is amazing and fun
almost everywhere. It's getting addictive
