Here's one:

Enchanted Rock, a big granite monolith in the Texas hill country. A wet spring has led to some amazing explosions of color. The main wildflower bloom is already past, but the vernal pools on top (essentially like a desert tidepool) are still in full flush. D700 with 16-35/4.
