Like the first shot Gary. Looks like You camped at Dinosaur Provincial Park. The third one is that the Loop Road I'm seeing?
Thanks Robert! Yes, we camped at DPP. It is once place which we make sure to visit each year. It is a great spot for the kids to do some exploring and for me to snap a few pics. The perfect combo! And yes, that is the loop road indeed. I was lucky to have such nice light at sunset.

Is that the Alberta badlands? I was there ages ago; neat place.
Yes, indeed it is the Alberta badlands. Dinosaur Provincial Park is often confused with the "other" badlands (Royal Tyrell Museum) located in Drumheller, Alberta. I much prefer Dinosaur Provincial Park but both are nice to visit.

Thought it was. I go out there year round on a regulari basis. A lovely place to photograph. The colors are great especially at sunrise and sunset. Two weeks ago I ran the Dinosaur Pump It Up 10K run. Around the loop road and onto the bus loop road in the restricted area, though I wasn't taking any picts, little hard to run and snap at the sametime.
