rsolti, that had better not be a T/S lens shot. I can't afford something like that right now.

That is what I was thinking as well, but me and you both know we are in denial about what kind of lens was used for that last shot...

Well, this proves nobody is in more denial than I am....I showed my wife (gotta get approval) what the lens COULD do by applying lens blur....she liked. I said if I get comments, I am purchasing...she said deal. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!

Great shots! Where were these taken? The background tree surrounds look familiar?

The first one is in Ripleys Believe It Or Not in London. The deer are in Bushy Park in London, just down the road from me.

This thread slipped to page 2 (half-way down too!) again.

These two shots were taken a couple of years apart, using different Nikon rigs . . .

D700 & 24-70 @ 48 mm & f22

D80 & 18-135 mm @ 100 mm & f18

Amusingly, I read a post yesterday that said that the D80 is just as good as the D3:

and as long as i is used within its element, produces just as good a shot as a D3.

Ha ha. Sure thing. If the element is about an inch wide and less than that deep, definitely.

You on KR's site again? Wait, that is the D40 that is better than the D3, not the D80
