Just came back from a walk to our state capitol building with the girls. The grass was dry. So were the girls ... for a while.
Oh well ... its summer, right?
(It doesn't look like it but it was getting so dark that it was getting hard to see. I had to use the 135 wide open at f 2.0 and shoot at iso 1000 to get the shot.)
One of my recent favorites... shot during a very sunny afternoon while scouting a new park near my house. Didn't expect to get any keepers because of the noon sun, but sometimes i luck out.

These are the best captures of a rapidly fading sense of innocence in our society. Quite beautiful really... and well done

The threads about photos that make us as individuals happy. You'll notice there's been no critisism's on here which is one reason I hope the thread just continues! It's been inspiring and fun. And yes, its a worthy contibution.
