Thank you! Oblomow is correct, and I also do not feel like this shot does the sheer size of this dome any justice. It is just dizzying as you enter the wide open expanse of the main floor and see the size and height in person.
We visited the ayasofia 2 years ago. Very impressive. Like more of the sights in Istanbul. I would love to post some images, but I use a <cough> Canon camera.....
