beautiful pic Thang, exif says 900mm, what lens did you use. It is very clear and wonderful colors. The whole series is NG good, and that second one is begging for wall space.

Hi Joe - thanks so much. "Exif 900mm" were taken with the 600 VR and D300. I believe the American Avocet family was taken with the same lens but with the D5000.

Today was especially windy. Down at the local beach there's a windsurfers club, and I've gone down there to try and grab a few shots, but only today did I get a few keepers. There was an awful glare out on the sea (don't have a polarizing filter), but I think these turned out alright
