I don't know, the two tones of bricks are distracting and you don't have the frame of the image perfectly parallel to the morter lines between the bricks. Besides, how can you call this a good image without a 100% crop inset?
The photo's on the Canon forum, corresponding thread, are awesome. Please pop over and have a look, some really inspirational photo's there. Fantastic work.

... then come back and post some more stuff here.
Yeah that was my idea too. Great stuff over there. I think it's better than our thread
Sheesh look at that thread. must be because they had a 5D for ages. I think we will see some splendid stuff here too since we all have a D3 or D700 now (except me). I've noticed some decent 1D mkIII pics too. Sheesh imagine how the pictures will be if those guys can use the amazing D3. hmmm... or isn't that 1D that bad after all
Oh well here's just another measly zoo shot i made yesterday. Maybe i have to ditch my nikon gear and go to the canon camp. apparently my pictures will be better with canon gear (really, just look at their thread, it's shockingly good)
Raymond,
You must be joking about changing over to Canon. The photos you post are outstanding!! After 15+ years with Canon I recently sold everything and am buying Nikon. I love the colors and I love the metering. Keep adding to this forum - we all enjoy your photos!!!
