Thanks.
Yes. Took me over a week to get the shots that i have as we had a one in one hundred year flood up our way. Couldn't travel the 80k's there, I didn't own a boat.

I believe it's run aground.
that's actually part of the new unloading system. They just run a crane out to the ship and unload it and it floats away. However, they are having trouble with the loading part.

Sorry to ask, Is that ship almost at the shore or it is a photo trick?
Yes it's beached. had a huge storm off of the east coast of Oz last year & one of the results was the Pasha Bulker dragged it's anchor.
I saw a documentary (manufactured landscapes) recently where there's a beach in india, where they run ships aground at high tide.... and then cut them apart.... the breaking beaches as they are known.... incredible.... and very sad to see the amount of pollution, and conditions in which people are working...
Yes they did manage to re-float it. It took them over a month to get the Barges there that were big enough & to set the winches up. Plus the tides played massively in the timing. The boat I think went to Korea for repairs & has now been re-commissioned under another name.
Thanks, Tim. It's in Terlingua, TX, just outside of Big Bend National Park. Was an old mining town that died off from mercury poisoning and gunfights apparently.
