Mark, that looks nice. A more "traditional" approach would be to have the larger, out-of-focus object in the background. I'll leave that up to you - perhaps you do not lean in the "traditional" direction

that I got the whole thing to work. Cal: well, I might
not be leaning in the traditional direction, but that's
only because I've no idea In fact, I hadn't thought
of putting the glass in the front. I was careful though
not to make the carafe too dominant. However, the
eye does not completely rest on the glass; I'm not
sure if that's good. Euphemistically I'd call it
"tension" or "dialogue"
Really nice shot Marc. I really like this older style cut/etched glass. While this may be newer, this style was more common in the States in the first half of the 20th century and not often seen in new crystal. Nice job!
