At this point, using the Print Post button is not an environmentally friendly act. Al Gore will knock on your door within 30 minutes of the button press.
As to the "Reality is a hurdle" line... One time a boss of mine said "Reality didn't happen." when discussing failed projections. I'm not sure if reality will happen or not at the PMA, but the more of this thread I read the older my gear seems to get.
We find out about Canon's new products tomorrow (Feb 21) at I believe 10AM Eastern time. It sounds like we're just going to see new P&S cameras at PMA. It looks like we may have to wait until the Fall for SLR goodies.

Source of that news?
No, No, No, The Print Post button is a feature of the website, not a custom programable function of the EOS 1DmrkII. The 1D won't gain the feature until the mrkIV, in about 5 years

Nikon just announced all their PMA point 'n shoots. Maybe Canon will announce theirs tomorrow. Doesn't mean (for either company) that they won't be introducing DSLRs on another day.
Not that I'm one of those poor lost souls who is counting on it, you understand!
I'm just as "in" on info as most people here, but I do kinda wonder whether
we won't see something SLRish this week, either bodies or lenses or both,
now that the rebate program, which was extended, is over. I kinda wonder
whether the extension date deadline points to a pending announcement
schedule.
I just checked, for the first time, the Nikon page. They have no rumor thread What are they doing, how do they survive without this, this.............anticipation?

They know they won't get anything good... and they've accepted that. So why anticipate nothing?

I realize it's a novel concept, but they are mostly out actually taking pictures. Unlike Canons, Nikons continue to function just as well after the introduction (or in this case simply suggestion of introduction) of a new model.

That would mean that he's buddies with Cheney and Gonzales, and I don't believe
that that is the case.
Moving back sort of to the kind of original question (kind of) (mostly)... so do you think we'll see more glossy papers or more matte ones? Or maybe a little of both?
It surprises me that the rumor threads concentrate so much on possible camera bodies while this forum normally seems more interested in lenses. Wondering why that is. Perhaps there is just more to speculate about with feature-rich cameras?
