WOW.... mine can't compete against any here!! I can't wait to get my hands on a nice wide angle lens. For now this is the best I have for this year.

I was so critical of the people who kept sharing more than one pic in a thread about your favorite (singular) shot. That was until I had to go decide. here are my two favorites. I almost included a third, a fourth and a.......

How do you all downsize for posting here? Every time I get it small enough to post it looks so bad I don't post it.

DPI should be 72 first...then scale the image down to the pixel dimensions you want to use.

Ignor DPI it is meaningless for the web, resize pic to no bigger than 800 - 1000 on the long side using bicubic sharper if you have it, unsharp mask after resize in you don't and use sRGB.

This is an inspirational and humbling thread. I wish I had hundreds to choose from but I liked this two-shot pano of Eilean Donan castle in the Scottish Highlands. Best wishes to all of you on this forum and thank you for the inspiration, instruction and encouragement.

Marvelous all

Here's one of my favs to add to this fantastic collection. My landscapes are generally pretty minimal in scope (part by choice, part by location), so here's one that typifies my view of things and makes me happy:

Happy holidays all!

Just took a look at all the pics in the thread, Some spectacular photos!!

Its hard for me to choose my best pic from this year as this year has been busy for me, and I have done alot of traveling to some great places. I also plan on doing more travel throughout summer.

This photo is a fravorate from my last trip to the Stirling Ranges National park in South West Western Australia. This is a picture of Bluff Knoll the highest peak in the stirling ranges and in Western Australia. You can walk to the top, which is a 4 hour journey.

And here is one of my fravorate sunset shot for the year taken at Kalbarri in the North of Western Australia.
