Damn, nice shot, you do know you guys are evil right? I'm doing a lot of low light work in clubs and things like that and I find my 50mm just a bit too long. A 35 * 1.6 (30D) would give me something like a normal lens on the 5D
So, keep them coming, you'll probably have me spending quite a idiotic amount of money at a prime. That's the only reason I won't get it tomorrow, the price... I'm considering the 28/1.8, but it's just not in the same league...
Wow! Some excellant tack sharp images here! I have been disappointed in the performance of my 16-35 f/2.8mm(on my 5D) and am thinking of going to primes. The 35L is stunning! I agree with "neographikal", "Keep them coming!" More landscapes. Maybe I will trade my 16-35 for a 35L.

Which lens, the 24f1.4L or the 35f1.4L? Do you have any 100% corner crops available?
whoops, it's the 35L, and I don't. There's a little coma and fall-off wide open, but even at 24 seconds there's plenty of star movement so the 100% crops don't say a whole lot about sharpness.

OK, thanks!
I've been thinking of getting the 24f1.4L but have never seen any astroimages taken with it.
This really lets my LLD flare up big-time. The want-list already had the 70-200/2.8L IS, then came the 5D with 85/1.2L and now the 35/1.4L can be added as well. I'll need to win a lottery I guess.
No love for the 24L?? What's up with that ?? Sometimes 35L is too long and
only 24L will do. My copy of 24L is very close in sharpness to 35L; a close
second. I will not hesitate to reach for it when 24mm perspective is needed.
