Yesterday it was only -10C/14F but before one gets used to it again after the summer, it takes a couple of sessions
Lars, I live in Kuopio, in the eastern part of the country. At this time of year the length of the day is a bit over 6 hours (sunrise today was 0833 and sunset at 1512). So, it soon starts to be the time of the "magic light" for whole day, yeah
Dang guys, I ALMOST feel guilty about the 80 degree weather we've been having in Texas. After a long summer, I look forward to everyones winter pictures.

When were you on the base? They are usually thick in the air. I live 35 miles away or so from there and they fly over a lot. (Along with Ospreys from New River!!!)

Just got back to my desk after a day of fighting assignments amidst a romping cold front in North Texas. I didn't want the day to end before I took time to wish everyone a Blessed Thanksgiving and to let you know that one of the things I'm grateful for is all of you.
