p.117 #1 · Mustang Air to Air

Thank you everyone for the comments! Especially now I feel that it really was worth it to have your fingers frozen Actually it was pretty good training for the real winter, when it can be really cold out there. Yesterday it was only -10C/14F but before one gets used to it again after the summer, it takes a couple of sessions

Here's one more of the MiG for you:

Lars, I live in Kuopio, in the eastern part of the country. At this time of year the length of the day is a bit over 6 hours (sunrise today was 0833 and sunset at 1512). So, it soon starts to be the time of the "magic light" for whole day, yeah

Dang guys, I ALMOST feel guilty about the 80 degree weather we've been having in Texas. After a long summer, I look forward to everyones winter pictures.

Well said Jon! Christ and His Father picked very few that had any fame or fortune, in fact they gravitated toward the insignificant, and pretty much still do! Makes you wonder why we work so hard to achieve significance.

Ah, but there is a simple answer to that: we don't work to achieve significance. We work to honor it, symbolize it, glorify it, and touch the heart with it. We work to inspire, to uplift, to fulfill. We work to warm the heart, dry the lips, and wet the eyes. We are upheld in our quest by the pounding of Awe in our veins, the chorus of Grace in our hearts, and the visions of Love in our eyes. And we work for that moment, that second, when we behold an image and feel that we've done justice to the Beauty in Creation.

Others work for significance and recognition. We here, work only to repay any part we can of the gifts we've been given by giving to others in turn.

JW, Rudolfo,

I don't have any aircraft photos, but I've been watching/lurking in the background almost since day one. What a great thread this has turned into. To both of you, AMEN!! You guys deliver the Message, and I'll be content to turn the pages!

Thanks!
Bob

A couple of shots from my visit to Seymour Johnson AFB. Too bad the Eagles weren't flying.

Sagar

When were you on the base? They are usually thick in the air. I live 35 miles away or so from there and they fly over a lot. (Along with Ospreys from New River!!!)

Just got back to my desk after a day of fighting assignments amidst a romping cold front in North Texas. I didn't want the day to end before I took time to wish everyone a Blessed Thanksgiving and to let you know that one of the things I'm grateful for is all of you.
