You're forgetting to deduct canon rebate from buydig's price:
Price at beachcamera and buydig for the 5D is 2749 with no tax for anyone living outside NJ. Subtract $300 rebate and you get $2449 or buy another lens and subtract $600 rebate and you can get it for under $2150.
I love Buydig and have always had a good experience with them. When I am in the market for something I always go to them first. Just thought I would throw that in...
The other part of the picture is buydig/beach will most likely ship your camera right away, where as dell may or may not ship it this year.
Also, when you have problems with dell you are talking to someone outside the US in many cases, versus beach/buydig it's a US person............... Jersey only seems foreign if you are from the south.
My one bad Dell experience with customer service in Pakistan or India or where ever it is pushed me away from them.
at buydig/beachcamera the price for a 5D as of 10 am this morning was $2749. I ordered one and by 4pm i got a tracking number advising of delivery! I'm not surprised that they raised the price since then.

Because you have to take the $300 or $600 rebates off of the Beach $2,749.
Also your take the Dell price of $3,299 - $659 = $2,640 then you add tax to that what ever that is. 8.25% in NY + 217.80. so $2,640 + $218= 2,858 then take off your rebates of 300 or 600.
I just order from B&H a 5D for $2749 using the psaug code. I also picked up another lens so I will get a $600 rebate. So $2,749 - $600 = $2,149 plus shipping which was about $35 (My Other lens I got was a EF 100-400L).
That's the price BEFORE the rebate. Now it makes sense... that's a really good price.
