Thanks Joshua (that's your name I hope). It'll be my walk around 50, with a noctilux for special purpose. A 35 lux will likely be the main lens, and I'll just use these 3 for quite a while....Peter

Well, you have about a month to bump the number up to 5 or 6 until the M8 is available. I know a certain Mr. Mancuso who supposedly started out with 3 lenses also.... I think he is working on his 5th now ?
I just wondered what happens if the M8 would not fulfil our expectations regarding IQ?
Probably many M-lenses on ebay
I am really surprized how much lenses are bought without knowing, how good or bad they work on the M8 (specially we do not know yet, how good non-coded lenses would work/how much vignetting we would see)
A thought about the microlenses on the M8. Do you think it will be implemented in Leica's next FF R10? They would kill Canon for some areas of photography..

Now that would be a big blow, wouldn't it? I feel confident that the IQ will be just fine however. Actually, I am pretty happy shooting film again using my M6 but I just miss the instant gratification of a digital system...

Don't you worry; there are plenty of guys on LUG,RFF or APUG waiting to relieve you of any mistakes.....
Sean,
thanks a lot for your work!!!!
I guess with the M8-hype there will be a lot of people subscribing your excellent site so the fee will go down for next year
Is it really worth having the MOUNT changed on a Canon? are some that much better than Leica's?
Dont mean to be a Leica bigot (well, not entirely :-)) but remountng for Canon glass? I need to see it, esp with so many older great leica M glass out there at good prices
