I will continue my homework. Your images and insight is greatly appreciated. Especially from one who is having to make a transition into a new environment.
Please continue to post, it turely helps, and anything you can think of that will assist is equally appreciated.
GREAT photos! You're website portfolio is just awesome. One question. When you shoot outdoors with your flash and it's a bright sunny day, how do you control the exposure (assuming your flash sync speed is 1/200 or 1/250)? Do you use ND filters?

Thanks so much for checking out my portfolio. I appreciate it.
So I shoot with a 5D and I can only sync at 1/160 even though it says it is rated at 1/200. I control exposure with my aperture mainly. I also will sometimes adjust flash output and shutter speed. Settings and such really vary from shoot to shoot.
The light I used is a single Elinchrom 600 RX with a gridded reflector. I think I used the 10' reflector for the back shot, and 40' for the arm shot. Directly overhead, maybe 3-4 feet above the model.
