How many of you find that if you shift over 7mm that you begin getting significant vignetting?
On my 300D I don't see any vignetting on the TS-E 24 until I'm at full shift (or tilt), i.e. 11mm. I do get more or less uniform light loss at 10-11mm, however, but that can be easily compensated.
On full frame (35mm film) I do see vignetting, but it's again not until 9+mm until it shows up.
RRS has a nice DVD where he goes into the method's and tools used to take panoramas... you might call them and ask them about it... or maybe they have the video on-line now....

Does anyone know which RRS plate to use with the TS-E lenses for panoramas? Im thinking of getting the 24 TS-E for taking panoramas.
Doug Morgan does wonderful panos of Victoria BC--and is using TS-E lenses. He'd be a good one for suggestions--and he tells me--for flatstitch panos I need only the RRS L bracket (which I own) and to make 2 marks on it---at 11mm each way from center. If you haven't looked at Jack Flesher's article on this--worth a look because it goes into how to use it.. http://www.outbackphoto.com/workflow/wf_58/essay.html
Just bought a 24mm TS-E. I've been sitting on the fence forever and this thread (and my upcoming trip to Yosemite) got me moving. I've been playing with a friends PC-Nikkor 85mm and I can't wait to widen things up a bit.

Thanks for that, I've been trying to find that artical.
But the more I look at it the more it looks like a model city, or a really low budget movie set where they can't afford to shoot in a real location so they build a model set.
Fernando, beautiful work! Really fabulous architectural shots. They're all from Portugal? I've been debating the 24 T/S, but I think you've convinced me... it's my next lense. Thanks for the shots.
Ok.. just a update. I placed my order this morning for:
Canon 5D
Canon 24mm TS-E L
Really Right Stuff L bracket for 5D
2 x 4Gb Hoodman Pro CF Cards (fastest cards rated at RobGalbraith)
Canon Ee-D Grid screen
... and my card is SMOKING. It's Christmas in July!!
Fernando - really wonderful photography. When I find myself drawn into the photograph and not looking at the "picture" it's really fine work. Please share more as you can.
