Jake yes it was kinda friendly at the start but I believe a few people got hurt in the end and also several glasses and such were smashed.

Steve... RAW.... the pics out of the camera that I posted were RAW files opened in BreezeBrowser and selected a few of them then created an HTML page and then posted the std files. so no post processing no PS no nothing... qute queston

Robert... There was a video camera someone propped up on a cheap tripod and left it there but I don't know if it was running or even there during the incident... there was cake, broken glass and wine stains where it was the last time I saw it about 2 hours before this all happened.

Holy crap. Who would actually pay money to have a "real" wedding, and then send it to hell in a handbasket? I can't believe the bride started it.

A very well written description of “When Weddings Go Bad”!!!!!!!!! By far one of the funniest events I have ever read! Sometimes stories grow in detail to the point of asking oneself, “did that really happen?” However, with the documentation that you provided, one can only view in horror as they look at the events that transpired.

I have never laughed so hard at things I have read on FM. Your accounts are absolutely outstanding!!!!!!

“the shoes you see on the ground are the victims shoes... she got pied right out of them” are kidding me!!!!!!!!

Or how about this one……… “ahh the mighty beer thrower. he is the one that started the liquid fight. He had the last of the cake and beaned some lady in the mellon with it then decided that the ammo needed a bit more toss-a-bility so to the beer and wine he went...”

As I embark on a career as a wedding photographer, I ask myself, “would I EVER want to see that event in person?”

What a story and the photos...just brilliant! Best laugh I've had in ages. I'll be surprised if anyone can top that story.

Oh, I can beat that. There was this one time, at wedding camp, and the bride was 10 minutes late and.....

Nope. Guess not.

That is the best wedding story I've ever heard (and seen!). Guess sports photography is good practice sometimes :-) and it's VERY well put together! Nice job! Is this what they mean by PJ style photography? Is this why it's needed? :-)

Man, that's more redneck than any southern wedding I've ever seen (and I'm from Georgia). Next stop Jerry Springer.

I bet you could get some nice soft focus Lensbaby-like shots with a little icing smeared onto a UV filter!

Can you put this in a soft back album? When I think things are going bad I can whip it out and remind myself that things aren't really that bad :-)

I think I'll put in my contract that I get a 25% combat pay increase if a food fight starts at reception. :-)

oh poor shaking head lady... I mean, look at her face.. and a nice dress. oh well..

underexposed though...
just kidding man, this is great PJ. Next time use your Sigma 15-30mm to get a great "being a part of the story" perspective
