I knew people in Canada had some issues, but this is WILD, who knew they had so much fun up there.. It explains hockey players and the desire to lash out at anyone, an apparent national trait. This was great!

Tim did you use bounce flash or did you set up studio strobes? Nice shots btw, lighting-wise.

actually oddly enough I did not use my flash bracket.... I just mounted the flash on the hotshoe and bounced it (using the 580 EX with the little bounce card thing poking out)
it did a good job. I am very glad I did not use studio lights... I am sure they would have been destroyed...
First off... I am very glad the oliers won last night... that kept the crowd happy also... nothing against Carolina but I am sure it would have gone much worse if edmonton had lost...
Winnipeg weddings in my years of shooting (now more then 150 weddings under the belt I have never ever seen anything like this...
I don't know what the hell happened here but well it was interesting.
I did get paid. I will be cashing the cheque tomorrow at their branch... just in case the venue sues them at least I got my cash...
just shows what booze can do...
I don't think it was a Winnipeg thing at all at least I hope not I have about 20 more weddings to go before the end of November... I think it was a combustable crowd and well fueled by beer and wine well just faned the flames.
Someone already used the "takes the cake" joke, but wow...that was TERRIBLE looking! My fiancee has previously decreed we would have no alcohol at our wedding and when I showed her this it just sealed the deal!
