Sorry, none of the Canon lenses I have. Nor the Nikon one. The Zeiss glasses are the miracle! The first image I got from my Zeiss 100/3.5 on Velvia 50 is stunning! Accurate, saturated color and extremely sharp image.
I guess the 35mm format is the limitation and the zoom design. Sigh...
10-20 - WOW that's WIDE and WOW that's Sharp.
50 - WOW! I have filters that cost more! and WOW that's sharp.
85 - WOW that's fast AF! WOW that's sharp and WOW! bokeh!
Virtually any prime if well-focused and composed prrime will beat a zoom, handsdown. . I love zooms, but my with a 50 1.8 and, a 300D with this lens pretty much devastated my 20D with the 17-85 mm and taught me a lesson for low light indoor photography. She complained vociferously about the the lack of zoom, accustomed as she was to point and shoots, but got the best photos ot this event.
135L. It is like having a fine Leitz lens for my Cannon. I like the 35L but I do a lot of people shots for my work and the 135L just does it right, if I am up to the task.
Oh man i got to use my school papers 300 2.8 IS......oh man that lens is something to die for, RAZOR sharp at 2.8, and focus was never off and was as fast as anything you could wish for and oh man the bokeh was RIDICULOUS.
Man i thought my 70-200 was great...if i had only known!
