I am not sure where that email came from, but I can assure you that he committed suicide. I talked to Officer Louka, last night at about midnight for over 10 minutes, he unfortuneitly explained every detail to me. He also told me to call him Monday night after 6pm my time, since he is on the second shift there at the Tigard Police Dept. He wanted to be able to let me know personally that my money orders were mailed back to me. At that time he had no indication on why, or possible motives for the suicide.....

One other interesting note is that the officer said that he has read my email correspondance with the individual himself. I also let him know I talked to him two times, Monday morning, and Tuesday morning before I mailed out the money.
I will quote the officer, "his computer was on and it appears he died about the time that the last web page showed which was about 24 hours ago." Also and I quote, "his car was repoed in the last 3 days."
And you said he emailed you not "to (sic) long ago"? The word is "too" as in excessive. not to as in the preposition. ;-]
I was very involved with the police with this issue. Do you have an issue with my statements? Should I type slower so you can understand? ;-]
I was the guy who made the cops go out there to try to stop him from cashing other people's checks. Since I sent mine fedex and he had signed for it I figured mine was toast, I had nothing to gain.

This same guy i am sure was selling a 16-35mm a few months ago for $1000.00 His name was Jeff but not Jeff Washington he was in Washington state I asked for a phone# I called him a spoke to him. He said he had a photo business. I asked if he was a member of any professional org.or had an ad in the yellow pages. He didnt so I told him I couldnt take the chance. A few days later a complaint was posted about him on Photo.net The guy that got ripped off lived here in Ga I spoke to him and tried to find the phone# of the guy but I had deleted it. I had looked up the area code before I originally called him it was in northern Oregon near the Washington state line. This has to be the same guy. I think the reason people sent money is because he would speak on the phone to them which is ultimately what got him cornered.

I almost got ripped off for his advertised Canon 100/2.8 Macro. I did send the money, but later was able to recall it back through the post office in Tigard, OR. I am very grateful for all the helps from the postal workers there and from all of you guys here. Thank you very much.
BTW, I am just wondering if anyone knows more about his death, ie how he killed himself, and what are the drives behind that. My experience involving this story really got me interested in more details.
