Yes, taken with the 20D, top and bottom crop only. I just got this lens Saturday to raplace a 50mm f/1.4 because I found it too long for indoor shots on the 20D. I'm happy so far.

The 35L is a great walkaround lens on the 20d when you feel like traveling light - the 24-70 is just too heavy to take on longer walks without a bag.

I just getting ready to pull the trigger on an 85/1.2L. I know the 35/1.4L is a great lense and I too don't need to be looking at this sort of stuff

Yes the 35 L is a wonderful lens. I am debating between this and the 85 L. Even though I have the 17-40 which covers 35mm, its (17-40) still maxed out @ f/4. rather slow in doors at night.

One more, I didn't have to buy this expensive Thangka

, it's that good. Handheld (I did not want to be blatant by seting up my tripod, of course

) at 1/60 sec., f4.5 and ISO 400....
