The hood on that lens makes me think it's not the 17-55 IS, but the 17-85 IS.

Actually Nikon does have white lenses (Well a greyish white), and to be really technical Canon doesn't really make "White" lenses, rather a off white/beige!

(Oh and Minolta/Sony have white lenses too).

Heres a white 70-200 VR:

Fred increased the number of posts per page when viewing a thread...since posts/page increased, number of pages decreased.
