I actually frequent both spots when I am in and around LA because my friend works at LAX. I eat at in-n-out and shoot planes landing (man, they are LOUD!)I hang out there while he's at work.

Truls, is that the 2x on the 300? Just curious as to the size of that teleconverter, as I've used the same setup without it......

I can vouch for that being the 2X teleconverter. I have the same one, but I am forced to use it on the lowly 300/4.

It works well with the primes, but I don't recommend using it on the zoom unless you absolutely need the focal length boost.
