I have shot this before and had to stitch a panorama, but now I have the Tokina 12-24 and it can "swallow" a whole scene like this:

As you can all see, this lens leaves a lot to be desired

How can one see if what you show is a 0.5 MP downsample of a 8 (16?) MP picture?

For those who use the Canon 15mm fish, do you de-fish with PanoTools?

Why de-fish a fisheye lens? it so much fun to shoot with it
Well, here some shots I've taken in San Francisco in '02.

How about some more pets?

http://www.ghostdogs.be/fm/mawofdoom.jpg

This one was taken a couple of hours ago. There's a funny anecdote to this one: i came across this site by accident, and this thread was the first one i clicked on. It was cool to finally see some good work based on wide-angle lenses all grouped together in a single thread I'd been looking for a wide-angle solution for a while, but since i'm unable to use the EF-S lens mount, i was considering a fisheye lens. The images in this thread convinced me, so i went out and bought a 15mm FE. This image is one of the first that came out, taken just a couple of hours ago No 'defishing' performed.

Cheers,

MK
