Thanks, I was doing some maintenance on my gallery web server and it was down for a few minutes while rebooting.

A pass with Focus Magic, radius 1, intensity 75%-100% works wonders on that problem. I use it on all my web posting images.

Lalfer, what lens did you use for these shots? The topic of this thread is supposed to be "post your super-wide shots". These don't look wide to me?

Wide as in wide-angle, not wide as in the oposite of close-up.
Wide angle (or even not close-up) doesn't have to be soft either. I do find that when you re-size for the web a dash of USM is needed to help correct for the loss of resolution.

"Sorry if that has confused someone above - someone was asking me how do I have such a happy family..!"

It's called a compliment and it's always nice to see families out having a good time

This is a most interesting thread. Instead of arguing on the sharpness of the lens we are having, about frong and back focusing, contrast, the miscellaneous merits of exotic lens made by exotic manufacturers, we have pictures one after another, to inspire, to share and to teach.

Does anybody have any city (not necessarily street, but in a city, maybe of a building) shots that are equivalent to 20 and 24mm on full frame (so 12.5 and 15 on 1.6x crop)? I'm trying to figure how wide is wide enough.
