Awesome shots. First one, easily the best. Second is great also. The 3rd is just like the first, but not nearly as good composition.

Thanks Ashley, the first is easily my favorite of those three too.
New Zealand .. what an amazing place.

The third shot should be much like the first, it was taken 2 minutes before and about 6 feet to the left of it

Matt, i'd like to know your workflow in getting such detailed and flawless images
uploaded to the web. Beautiful shots. I use WP Pro to shrink, Save For Web,
then a little Digital Velvia. Are you doing anything special?

That's right. You can check my site for plenty more pics of the event.. although not necessarily at 10/16mm

My dog hates when I bring my camera anywhere near her. But she puts up with it. Even when I'm less than a foot from her face.

Tamron 11-18 f/4.5-5.6 at 11mm. (cropped from full image, but I dig the bulbous nose.
