These are all some really cool shots. I have never really seen wide shots like this. Has anyone used the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM? I was looking at this lens along with the Tokina 12-24mm f/4? I really dont want to get the Canon 10-22 because if I ever move to a 1DMII it will not work.
Keep the great shots comming!!!!!
This Sigma is also made for the APS sensor size and will not work on a FF camera.
Read earlier today that a few in here wanted some shots from the Sigma 10-20, so heres one I took for this purpose today. Nothing special, just to show an example.
Wow. Awesome pictures everyone. This thread has totally convinced me to go out and get a 10-22mm. I was holding back because it was EF-s, but with all these amazing perspectives I see, I think it's worth it. Hopefully EF-s will stay around for a while or at least my camera will last a long time
Whoops--sorry to duplicate the subject matter! I confess that I had only reviewed some of the 36 pages or so before I posted....Yes, there is a window one floor up from ground level that provides this look over the courtyard at the British Museum. I took mine on a damp London day as soon as the museum opened--so about 10 a.m. I think. I am sure that many photogs take photographs from that view. I have quite a few others from ground level that are fine, but to capture the sweep of the whole courtyard, the window is the best vantage point.
