Another Tokina 12-24@14mm. Taken from passenger seat about five minutes before driving into a very local shower.

Welcome to the forum, Outermountain. Nice shots, too. The second looks like high-speed film.

Great wide angle pics! Recently got a Canon 10-22 myself and I was wondering how you guys focus: if I shoot at f8-f9, could you just put the lens on manual, focus at 1meter, and thus have everything from 0,40 meter to infinity in focus?

I realize the sky shot doesn't provide the kind of data that's being sought here.
Canonfan asked for a city shot. Here's the GG Bridge at 12mm on the Tokina.

Thanks, 20Dshooter! Both pictures are taken the same day I received the Tokina. First time I shot wider than 35 mm.

These are all some really cool shots. I have never really seen wide shots like this. Has anyone used the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM? I was looking at this lens along with the Tokina 12-24mm f/4? I really dont want to get the Canon 10-22 because if I ever move to a 1DMII it will not work.

Keep the great shots comming!!!!!

The constant f/4 of the Tokina won me over, though the Canon shows some
impressive image quality. These are probably all good lenses, and pretty
comparable. I wouldn't mind having 10mm to play with. The reviews
will be appearing shortly, I'm sure.
