I want something wider than this lens so I just bought a Sigma 18-50. I am gambling that I wont need the 50-70mm range that I won't have if I only have the new Sigma and a 70-200VR.
I bought the 24-120 in March and have taken about 150 photos with it. To my eyes it is a good copy. Here are two pics taken this last weekend. When it comes to sharpness, I always test on either fur or feathers. A little USM is all the post processing.
