So we see posts showing off the big L primes everyday but we never see threads dedicated to zooms. I'm considering this lens for a trip to Finland, Sweden, and northwestern Russia this summer. Wow me with your fantastic shots.

I loved the lens when I had it on my 10D... I only had it for a couple of weeks though... Would definitely buy it again.

Not so sure these are fantastic. I do know the 70-200 4L fits nicely in a back for travelling. Enjoy your trip.

Is it possible to shoot regular without tripod with the 70-200mm f4, or doe it need the f 2.8 lens

You can definitly shoot this lens without a tripod.

It's (relatively) light, and easy to carry, esp. compared to it's heavier brothers!

Here's some I took handheld, you definitely don't need a tripod with it, it's quite light. Just watch your shutter times and you'll be okay. Great lens, I can't recommend it enough.

Beautiful shepherd... My parents put down our Shepherd 2 months ago... I grew up with her so I am still getting over it.... Good think I got my puppy to keep me preoccupied... .It seems so empty at my parents house when my wife and I visit.
