My wife and I just returned from a 17 day trip to Ecuador. Visited Antisana NP, Amazon Basin, Galapagos, and Cloud Forest. All was in guided groups (a first for me, and I was the only one with a "real" camera). The guides were excellent, but the groups made "serious" (at my own speed and time to explore a subject) hard so I didn't have many "in the zone" photo experiences. Here are a few first posts - haven't had time to process much yet. Photography in the jungle is pretty tough - low light and the critters hiding in the trees are hard to spot, then focus on!
Thanks Morris. The only way to do it "right" would be to hire private guides. Don't know if that is even possible on a Galapagos cruise. This was the most expensive vacation of our lives, so that would be far outside our budget.😎
