p.1 #1Five On Fujifilm 400
Been shooting stricty digital for twenty years, decided to give film photography a go earlier this year. These are five of my favorite scans thus far.

Photos taken on either a Minolta Maxxum 7000 SLR or an Olympus Trip 100 point n' shoot.

A. Last of the Oil

B. Green Signal Ahead

C. Blast and Furious

D. Life Is Full Of Hurdles

E. I'm living in the eighties.

I really like the light and color in "B. Green Signal Ahead". Are these scans straight from the lab? I might suggest doing some light tinkering and setting the black and white points in the photos. Photo B benefits a ton from raising the black point in the curves so that the shadows go darker.

Thanks and yes the scans are from the lab. However, I do edit the scans slightly as I find Fujifilm 400 can be a bit too saturated with its colors. I'm not a fan of overly dark shadows, so I usually lift the shadows up just slightly and tone back the saturation a bit.
