Has anyone found a commercial version of something like this? This is something I whipped up in the garage to extend the tripod foot to support the lens with my palm while zooming.

Go to http://www.hejnarphotostore.com and check out his lens plates. I have no affiliation other than I am a very satisfied customer who has purchased multiple items there, and have always been very satisfied.
