FSNikon Micro-Nikkor 200mm f/4D Macro Lens

For sale is an excellent Nikon 200mm f/4 Micro-Nikkor Macro Lens. The body of the lens is in excellent cosmetic and physical condition as shown in the pics. No dust, fungus, mold is visible on the internals/blades of the lens. This is an extremely sharp and well built lens, and retails for $1800. The included Hoya filter has been present on the lens from day 1.

You will note a velcro strip on the M/A focus selection ring, which is a fix for the plastic ring which broke many years ago. This is extremely common for this lens, and does not effect functionality. It is also noted that the threads on the lens hood have a dent in them, but the lens hood still threads on/off the lens without issue.

I am the second owner of the lens, which was purchased from a family member. It was always stored in a climate controlled safe when not in use. While I had aspirations of macro photography, I have found I don't have the patience to slow down and take the time that this lens deserves.

Included in the sale is the lens, really right stuff tripod foot, lens hood, and original box (packaging is not included/missing), and lens caps. The asking price accounts for the focus ring and lens hood thread damage.
