FSLEICA M5 Black Chrome Near Mint

Original Box, manual, strap included.
The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition and has been well cared for.

-I purchased this M5 in July of 2021, and it has given me much joy since then with trouble-free shooting. It had a recent CLA when purchased and has been babied during my ownership. Many rolls have gone through it without a problem, and it just returned from France with more wonderful images. In short, it is working as it should.

-The body is in beautiful condition with only very slight brassing on the bottom plate.
-Exceptional overall condition showing only minimal signs of use.
-The original vulcanite remains intact and in Mint condition.
-The viewfinder is pristine, bright, with no dust, haze, or fungus.
-The rangefinder is bright, defined, and has excellent contrast. Focusing is a breeze.
-All functions work perfectly:
-Shutter speeds are accurate.
-Film advance is smooth and buttery.
-The Light Meter works perfectly. The Meter arm is in wonderful condition. It's extremely accurate.
-DIN/ASA dial works perfectly. TINY sharkskin piece on top of the dial is intact.
-Hot shoe shows almost NO wear.
-"X" & "M" flash ports are perfect and clean. Comes with original (dual) cover.
-Film advance number window works perfectly.
-Shutter speed wheel works perfectly.
-Film advance and rewind are in perfect shape.
-Lens mount release is tight and accurate.
-Self-timer works perfectly.
-Frameline lever works perfectly.
-Shutter curtain is in perfect shape.
-Bottom plate removes and locks as intended, with no problems.
-The battery compartment is in near-perfect condition.

The only wear is rubbing around the lugs, battery door, and the base plate, as illustrated in the photos. Minimal for a camera of this vintage.
