The Majestic Model 1200 is a heavy-duty, all-geared pan-and-tilt tripod head manufactured in Chicago for large-format, medium-format, and heavy professional camera setups. This has got to be one of heaviest, sturdiest and most stable god damned tripod heads ever made. Only selling because I ended up with 2 of them!
• Geared Control: Features internal gears and an oversized, self-locking crank mechanism for smooth, slow, and precise angle adjustments.
• Mounting Type: Designed to fit directly onto a 1-1/2-inch post mount (such as classic Majestic or Davis & Sanford tripods), though adapters or specific base variants can allow compatibility with standard 3/8"-16 threaded tripod legs.
• Build Material: Built with rugged aluminum castings designed to withstand decades of heavy commercial and field use.
• Tilt & Pan Range: Offers fine-tuned control over forward and back tilt, side-to-side leveling, and full 360-degree rotation.
I'm gonna take a beating on shipping this thing, so price is firm. Works great!
