p.1 #1Sandpipers
The Sanderling sandpipers were enjoying the empty beach as much as I was when I took this set at Nickerson Beach here on Long Island, NY.

Comments and suggestions welcome,

Morris

Perhaps a slight bit overall dark on this set? However a most enjoyable set with #7 being a unique capture!

I really like the action and light of #5, great one Morris!

Thank you Karl,

The harsh light was a challenge and a surprise so late in the day. Possibly I should have left the environmental shots out as they have to stay dark to maintain the whites while the contrast works much better for the tighter images. I reprocessed the 5th 5 times before settling on what I'm showing. I've got yet another idea how to process it and might give it a try. Yes, 7 is a super moment and a very large crop. I saw exactly what you were talking about in being too dark in the wider view yet that moment as it turned was special so I kept after it.

I appreciate your detailed feedback as it helps me improve and you have a great eye.
