OK, since I'm relatively new here, someone must have already done the footwork, so I'll thank you all to tell me where to find this info: There are great deals to be had here on FM, but you have to stay GLUED to your computer with your finger on the button with the words pre-printed on your screen, "I'LL TAKE IT!" So, at what point do you guys:
1) go to the bathroom
2) find enough sustenance to stay alive
3) engage in activities other than watching "Buy and Sell" to prove you're still alive (this is mostly so that the cat doesn't try to start scraping dirt over you as you sit at the computer) <---to control the smell
I have a stocked mini bar under my desk.
My chair is a porta-potty.
My TV remote works well from the desk as well.
High speed internet and like the old beer commercial says, "It don't get much better than this!"
Maybe someday the mods can get together and come up with a 12-step program for us...

RioKid, Zoom2Zoom, all of these are really a team of people with shifts.
One goes off duty just as another comes on -- only one has time to shoot, so there is no equipment to fight about...

Better yet an alert that gets sent your WAP Phone so you can buy on the run. FM is NOT WAP friendly.....wish it was though, then I could browse the B&S while @ work
I have written software that forwards every new post to my email in box within 10 seconds. I get a beep, check the product and transfer the money if I want it. I then ask the seller to imediately delete the thread. In the last 2 weeks I have acquired:
85 1.2 for $675
70 - 200 2.8 IS for $700
35 1.4 for $550 (that guy was nuts)
580 ex for $150
1DSMKII for $2500 (he said it was an impulse purchase and didn't want his wife to see it)
My software can be licensed subject to a no-complete agreement...
Heh, I think it's just a great Karma thing. I wanted a GPS. I logged onto FM and there is someone posting a GPS for sale, for 100$ under retail, exactly 13 seconds prior to my logging on.
I said I'd take it
So the deals are always here, you just have to log on a sufficient amount and be patient enough to have them fall into your lap.

(1) I am wireless and take my laptop to the toilet with me
(2) I am wireless and my Computer is at my Dining Room Table
(3) I have hired a person to take care of that kind of unecessary activity
maybe a couple For sale/Wanted forms.. split it up. 1. camera bodies 2. lenses 3. Lighting 4. everything else that'll make it easier and quicker to find something to buy/sell.. lol
