Does anyone know the real reason why canon removed auto sensor cleaning from the R100 and R50 , yet included it on the earlier M100 and M50?
It makes absolutely no sense to me especially given that the sensor is fully exposed when swapping lenses. Is this canons infamous cripple hammer at work ?
I think most likely is that those cameras lack the sensor-based image stabilization mechanism that does double duty in the newer cameras for also shaking the sensor.
It's probably not economical or practical to use the older tech sensor shakers in the newer low-cost bodies.
