Had a chance to get some shots during an 8U football game. Plenty dark, so used LRC and Topaz to address noise. C&C appreciated as always. Tried to get faces and the ball when possible.

Agreed with Carl, they must have really liked being under the lights.
Take a closer look at the Ridell label on some of the helmets, I know the 300 ƒ2.8 can resolve them better than what is showing. Could this be the result of Topaz's over zealous efforts? How much cropping was done on the last three? That might also be a factor.

Yes, cropping was definitely a factor with #5 having spot-on focus and least amount of cropping while #6 was the heaviest crop and was also not well focused. Number 7 was a pretty big crop, too. Heavy cropping definitely affects your final product, but with the R5II I typically have a little more leeway when shooting RAW. I ran Topaz on auto just to get through the large number of photos.
And, yes - the kids loved playing on the high school field!! That's my younger grandson in photo 7 (he's #8 - got his eyes closed when the offensive player contacts him ... !).
