Here's a set of some of my favorite grizzly bear pictures from our trip.
I think the first one is my favorite from the entire trip. It has a lot of things I was hoping to capture, the bear's laser focused eyes, the HUGE sockeye salmon, the water dripping...

This one had a very different feel. The momma and cub were completely focused on each other and their affection for each other was clearly evident.

This one had a serene feel to it. The bear was just completely relaxed and didn't have a care in the world.

This was the closest that any of the bears came to me throughout our entire trip. I was laying on the ground and our guide actually came and stood right next to me to give the bear a sense that that was close enough.

In this last one these two roughly three year old siblings were just floating down the river and sparring the entire time. After about 150 yards they stopped screwing around and started fishing again.

A delight to view Chris. Sockeye Salmon is delicious. I ate a lot of it when we were in Alaska last month.
