This lens that completely rewrites the rules for telephoto zooms. If you’re a Sony shooter, you’re going to want to pay attention to this one. This is the Tamron 50-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD for Sony FE-mount.
Normally when you look at a telephoto lens that reaches all the way out to 300mm, it starts at 70mm on the wide end. And honestly, 70mm can feel a little too tight if a subject suddenly gets close to you. Tamron solved that problem by starting this thing at a true standard **50mm**. That extra bit of width makes it an absolute Swiss Army knife for landscapes, sports, or just walking around.
The best part? It gives you a massive 6x zoom range without feeling like you’re carrying a heavy bazooka. It weighs just 665 grams and is incredibly compact, so it won't weigh down your pack when you're out exploring for hours.
Was purchased new in June of 2025 through Amazon and is a USA copy with a copy of the receipt included. This unit is in excellent condition, functions flawlessly, and includes the original lens and hood along with both the front Tamron cap and generic e-mount rear cap. No box.
As always, first-come, first-served. It’s boxed up, and ready for its next owner today. Price is net to me, but I will include ground shipping in the continental USA. Prefer fee free payment, but can do G&S at 3.1% more. I try to ship the same day whenever possible. Thanks for looking!
