Oh yes to this lazlo!
It is mesmerizing! The "phoenix" rising here! Out of tragedy comes rebirth! The geometry just is so unique. Had to be a "rush" being there.
By chance was it planned or a happening?

PS..this Nor'easter has been siting just south of Maryland's coast for 3 glorious days! Crisp air...warm in sun but nice coolness in the shade..today awoke to brilliant blue sky..it is goin' on 3pm and drizzle for the last 45 minutes.

The place has been abandoned for a couple of years at the time I took the pictures....like so many other mills in the Naugatuck Valley in CT. This was one of the last ones.

It was a planned trip with my friend Ted Roth. We had been visiting and taking pictures in many of these old , abandoned factories for many, many years. Just about all of them are gone now, burned or bulldozed. Yeah, it was a rush indeed !
Had been raining here for three days now, hight winds, but till now we still have power. Hope it stays that way.
