Unless the lens truly surprises on the weight side…I’d much rather have a compact f4 zoom with a couple nice small 1.8 primes. Not many instances where a 2.8 zoom is needed that a f4 zoom cannot handle.

Looks fake to me. The image of the lens shows an "S" on the barrel, but there's no focusing ring - just the crappy combo focus/control ring like their cheaper range of non-S lenses.
