Today I have for you a late-production GW680 III (rangefinder date code 2000) in very good overall condition and perfect working order. Mechanically, the camera is flawless. The interior is spotless, and the shutter speeds have been verified as highly accurate using a professional shutter tester. The aperture blades are super clean with no oil on either side, and the light seals are in great shape. Additionally, the framelines were recently repaired and are fully functional, and a new custom eyepiece thread was machined to replace a missing one.
Cosmetically, the camera looks great but has a few minor blemishes. There is a small scratch/chip on the front element, but it is purely cosmetic and has absolutely no effect on photos. There is also a minor crack to the left of the eyepiece near the strap lug, which has been securely plastic-welded from the inside. Lastly, the built-in bubble level is intact, though the green dye has faded over time.
