Why am I now being asked to verify that I am a human every time I change forums here at FM?

I only get the Cloudflare challenge when going to FM and then again when logging in, so about 80 times a day.

I only get the "Cloudfare" challenge when logging in. On my wife's MacbookPro laptop, it is "auto" filled then I login. I am "assuming" Cloudfare is the one checking the "Success" box to allow e to log in.
On my Windows PC's with Norton 360(VPN)..I get a challenge to "check the box" then I can log in. I have to "check the box".
I do have AD Blocker Ultimate and Malwayrebytes(Mac-no vpn)) for my antivirus and ad block. Maybe they are preventing this frustrating ordeal.
While I understand the frustration it incurs with all of us, I had my ID stolen in 2019 and that was "thee" worst experience you can imagine! The doxing was unbelievable! Any funds stolen were recovered but again, the doxing is absolutely terrible.
Point being...while I understand members frustration, not having these challenges will make any "theft" FAR worse! Any may NEVER go away.
I am sure what Fred has to endure when the site is hacked, like about a month ago, is FAR worse..I will live with it..

Sorry I mis spoke above..on my PC's I have 2 "challenges by Cloudfare b4 I can login in.
As I mentioned above, my id was stolen....For continued safety I susbcribe to a anti-traker program that is quite good! I am NOT endorsing this product..it works for me and I get some semblence of "safety" from its use.
This is fyi..rhetorical..And "AI" is our future? Hopefully I will be gone by then..."2001-A Space Odessey" has been correct to today! "HAL" has been correct so far!

Because AI is screwing up the world. Just like the Internet became an easy way for criminals to scam anyone anywhere in the world, AI is giving them an even better tool.

Get used to it. How do you expect Fred to keep this site safe for members, when scammers are using more nefarious ways to interfere with this site running smoothly?

I could (sort of) understand it if we are talking about the B&S board. So are you telling me that the bots are specifically targeting the Nikon Forum and that's what Fred is trying to protect? Or is there just some flag set wrong . . .

How the hell would I know what bots are doing? Bots and hackers do all sorts of strange things. If it is that concerning to you, ask Fred, not me.

Just a coincidence. I’ve gotten the message on Sony but not Nikon. It’s probably more random than just looking at specific forums.

The Cloudflare "click here" thing is hardly an inconvenience. It's not a captcha or Google trying to get you to volunteer your time identifying street view objects.

Those Google verification scenes are like from some city in Europe or Asia, maybe?
I get them wrong so often I just don't bother.
And that Jungle company wants me to count a bunch of rocks or identify spaceships to log in.
