Does anyone have experience selling to B&H Photo? I sold some lenses, a tripod and some heads to them and received an email nine days ago stating that a check had been sent via USPS; I contacted them to let them know that I hadn't received the check, and they still haven't responded. Any suggestions?
I called B&H and was told that I should wait two weeks for the check to arrive (nothing on their selling page about this); a few minutes later I received an email stating: "Checks typically take approximately 5–7 business days to arrive. If you have not received the check by Friday, please let us know and we will be happy to have it reissued." I've been a B&H customer for more than forty years, and this will be the last business I do with them (I'll be cancelling another order for a new camera and lens with a supposed ship date of mid-October).

That seems rather harsh. The USPS is increasingly sporadic and they are more than likely the cause of the delay.
If B&H had operated in a professional manner, I would have been a little more patient, but every time I contacted B&H, I got a different story; the last person I talked to told me that they only cut checks once a week which is probably the cause of the delay; when I have sold to MPB, they ask if I want store credit, a physical check or direct deposit to my checking account. Given B&H's position in the marketplace, they should be at least offering electronic transfer.
Never had any issues with BH Photo. Got fair prices for sales to them although lower than if I sold on my own. They send an email after they evaluate the product to see if it's in the condition you desceibe. Depending upon closing for religious holidays they are quick with this. The eventual email states check number and that it is sent usps. Of course, I live in New York City a and you live farther away. USPS is awefull as usual but I've always gotten what I've been quoted. No problems at all.
